Placing forested parcels into “designated forestland” can significantly reduce property taxes owed to the county for those forested acres (RCW 84.33). If you intend on devoting at least five contiguous acres to the growing of timber, we highly recommend applying for the forestland designation for tax purposes. Roots Forestry has multiple professional foresters on staff qualified to compete a Timber Management Plan required for approval into this land designation. We will work with your county to meet all requirements for Timber Management Plans and ensure your acceptance into this program. Give us a call for a free consultation.
Our Timber Management Plans include:
-Forest Stand Description
-Forest Health Evaluation
-30 Year Forest Management Recommendations
-Custom GIS Maps
-Custom Soils Report
-Stream, Wetland, and Resource Descriptions
-Photos
